Is Online OT the right fit for you?

Online OT could be the right fit if you’re looking for therapy that is…

  • Flexible & convenient – with sessions that work around your schedule

  • Done in places where everyday life happens – at home, school, work or in the community

  • Evidence-based & effective – providing a high standard of care, just like in-person OT

Then online OT may be the right fit for you!

The best part of online OT is that sessions are accessible to you. All you need is:

  • A device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, smartphone)

  • A stable internet connection

  • A quiet, comfortable space where you can focus during the session.

If you are unsure whether online OT will work for you, we’re always happy to talk it through with you and make adjustments so you feel confident and supported!

Why Online OT?

Online therapy is a dynamic, flexible space. Online occupational therapy is delivered via secure video sessions, allowing you to access support from wherever you are in Australia.

Online therapy offers the same professional support as in-person therapy, without the need to travel. Sessions are personalised, practical, and focused on your real-life goals!

Meet the OT behind Alma OT

Hi, I’m Maddison - the occupational therapist behind Alma OT.

I’m an AHPRA registered occupational therapist with over 7 years of experience working with children, teenagers and adults with a range of support needs. I have been working as an online OT for over 3 years, delivering engaging, evidence-informed occupational therapy through telehealth to clients across Australia.

Having grown up in a small rural community, I know how important it is that families can access high-quality therapy without long waitlists or lengthy travel. Online OT allows me to support people wherever they live in Australia.

My approach is warm, strengths-based, and personalised, helping teenagers and young adults build confidence, independence, and meaningful routines - all from wherever they are.

Why “Alma”?

Alma means soul.

We believe occupational therapy is about more than learning skills. It's about helping people reconnect with who they are, discover what matters to them and build a meaningful life
